The Candlemas (or candle) is a religious festival which commemorates the presentation Lord of the Temple. E 'now for nine years which is still one of the most anticipated events of the city of Avellino. An ancient tradition that the sounds of tammorre and folk instruments, rhythms blends pagan and Christian faith. Many events planned for the festival: the debates to the production of books, from shows to folk concerts. Among the guests Vladimir Luxuria presenting his book Fairytales do not these , read for the occasion by Massimo Saverio. One of the highlights is the Juta, the pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Montevergine with the screening of the movie "Femmnielli" Michele Buono.
